I visited wok & Roll in Leland and ordered a Sesame Chicken with Shrimp Fried Rice, Szechuan Beef with white rice, Egg Drop Soup, and steamed dumplings. This is my rating for each dish: Sesame Chicken 5 Szechuan Beef 4 Egg Drop Soup 4 Steamed Dumpling 4.5 Out of 5 I would give Wok & Roll 4.5 One of the best Chinese express that I have had in the Leland area, and would definitely recommend! Customer service was top notch with a very welcoming atmosphere. There is also plenty of parking since the location is in a shopping center! You definitely need to try Wok & Roll

I'll start off by telling you, I was born and raised in the New York area. The quality and freshness, is second to none. I am impressed how how close it is to New York quality if not better. My problem lies with the fried rice, this is absolutely the worst roast pork fried rice I've ever encountered. Very disappointing you can count the pieces of roast pork in the dish with virtually no vegetables at all. if they can correct this I believe they would be the best Chinese restaurant in North Carolina and many other places. I literally throw the rice away and go to Harris teeter next door and buy it from them. The only reason I rated the food of three is because of the fried rice everything else I've tried here is made of the highest quality and fresh. Please please please please please correct the fried rice.
Don't listen to the negative here. 40 year old Asian here. Ive been eating here by proxy for 8 years. I will say with great confidence that the food that's been sold the past 12 months has been awesome. Stop eating panda express. You people forget what American-Chinese takeout should taste like.
If you know what real Chinese food is then this is the spot you want to be. I cant speak on the quality of the food from others but out of the 10 times I have been here . Its never been overcooked nor have ever felt rushed by the lady in the front that hustles both customers and cooks in the back. People need to understand that just because you don't think your being heard you are, quit being overly sensitive and understand what it's like to run a business. Would definitely recommend to anyone that's looking for something with taste without the cardboard.
Love me some Wok and Roll! Always friendly service and delicious, consistent food. And they will make it EXTRA SPICY if you ask them to. Generous portions and great prices. My go-to for tasty Chinese takeout in Leland!
Great tasting food! Sweet and sour chicken was great even though looks of it weren't as appealing. i was surprised with a juicy fried chicken, The shrimp fried rice was unbelievably a delight!
